Position Details
The Boeing Company is looking for an Entry Level Software Engineer to join the Next Generation Product Support software team located in Ridley Park, PA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.
Responsibilities
- Assists with the documentation and maintenance of software architectures and interfaces and designs for Next Generation Product Support systems.
- Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system.
- Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.
- Supports software research and development projects.
- Troubleshoots basic software issues.
- Works under close supervision.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree.
- Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
- 1+ years of experience with web service development using Python and Java (SpringBoot)/C#.
- 1+ years of experience with front end web programming (Angular 9/10+, Typescript, JavaScript).
- 1+ years of experience supporting application data management and integration with various technologies including but not limited to Java, Javascript, SQL, JSON, XML, XSLT.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience programming with frameworks such as Angular or Spring.
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience with microservices.
- Familiarity with Gitlab CI/CD.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
Additional Information
- This position is hybrid, requiring some onsite work at Ridley Park, PA.
- Occasional travel may be required but would be less than 10%.
- This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Salary and Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00.
