Job Overview
Boeing is seeking a skilled Software Developer - Front End with a focus on contract work in El Segundo, CA. This role requires a deep understanding of front-end technologies and a proven track record in developing robust web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Angular, and Node.js, and must be a US citizen with active top secret SCI clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using JavaScript, React.js, Angular, and Node.js.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration and efficient rendering of applications.
- Create dynamic web pages and SPAs using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
- Implement authentication strategies and understand server-side vs. client-side rendering.
- Generate UML documentation to trace design to implementation as part of the development process.
- Communicate effectively across teams to coordinate front-end development activities.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, Angular, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and CSS styling frameworks like Bootstrap and Tailwind.
- Experience with REST-based systems; knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
- Ability to create reusable components and understand build tools for JavaScript.
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field.
Additional Requirements
- Must be a US citizen with active top secret SCI clearance.
- Position is based in El Segundo, CA, with potential to work out of Seal Beach, CA.
