About the Role
As the Founding Product Engineer at Garage, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of a burgeoning marketplace dedicated to used equipment. This role places you at the heart of product development, where you will be responsible for scaling a two-sided marketplace, engaging directly with users, and owning the end-to-end delivery of new features.
Responsibilities
- Scale the two-sided marketplace to meet growing demand.
- Engage directly with users to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
- Own the development and delivery of new features from concept to deployment.
- Enhance the performance and reliability of the full stack.
- Collaborate with founders and the CTO to define the product and engineering roadmap.
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about building and scaling technology solutions.
- Strong experience in full-stack development, particularly with TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
- Proactive, outcome-driven, and comfortable working in a startup environment.
- Able to work on-site in New York City four days per week.
