Role Overview
As a Founding Product Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of qualitative research through technology. You will work on complex technical challenges such as transforming qualitative data into quantitative insights, fine-tuning large language models, and developing a state-of-the-art speech-to-speech pipeline.
Technical Challenges
- Data Transformation: Convert free-form conversation data into structured formats using advanced techniques like embeddings and fine-tuned LLMs.
- Question Optimization: Develop methods to prompt LLMs effectively, ensuring the AI asks pertinent and insightful questions.
- Multi-modality: Enhance our speech-to-speech pipeline, addressing challenges related to audio input and output integration with LLMs.
About You
- Passionate about building products end-to-end without detailed direction.
- Skilled in Next.js, TypeScript, and large language models.
- A collaborative builder who considers system design with other engineers in mind.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Proactive in seeking assistance to discuss trade-offs and solutions.
- Willing to tackle unglamorous engineering tasks as part of a dynamic startup environment.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 USD.
