About the Role
As a Senior Technical Team Leader in Software Engineering at Wunderflats, you will be at the forefront of leading a team both from a technical and managerial perspective. You will collaborate cross-functionally with our Engineering, Product Management, Product Design, and Data Teams, as well as our leadership team. This pivotal role allows you to significantly impact our Technology estate as we scale.
Responsibilities
- Drive technical discussions, guiding your team to build elegant solutions.
- Serve as a technical reference point and recommend areas of improvement.
- Participate in the design review process, providing and seeking constructive criticism.
- Deliver high-quality solutions and ensure your team follows your lead.
- Monitor and adjust your team's pace to create urgency and success while protecting from burnout.
- Focus your team on high-impact work and contribute to the organization's design and development frameworks.
Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years in software development of complex and critical projects.
- Prior Team Lead experience is essential.
- Experience in various software designs, languages, and architectures.
- Knowledge of cloud computing, specifically GCP and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in NodeJS, MongoDB, TypeScript, and React.
- Strong understanding of clean coding principles and design patterns for object-oriented programming.
