About The Role
Chime is seeking a talented Frontend Software Engineer to join our Enrollment team. This role focuses on building scalable systems to innovate and drive growth in our acquisition efforts. You will develop full-stack solutions with a primary focus on the web frontend, including building flow management systems and running experiments to boost adoption of the Chime mobile app.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, release, and scale new and existing consumer product features and frontend architecture.
- Provide full-stack support or collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate platform APIs.
- Develop thoroughly tested code and conduct quality assurance alongside quality engineers.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems within the team domain.
- Work both in a team and independently to deliver on goals, accelerating development velocity while delivering the best experience to our members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience with React.js in frontend development.
- Familiarity with backend development and frameworks such as GraphQL and Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with A/B testing or other experimental designs to determine the best solutions for user needs.
- Understanding of architectural patterns of large production services built for scale.
- Strong empathy for the users of the products you create.
