Join Our Engineering Team as a Full Stack Developer
ForeFlight is seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic Engineering team. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining backend systems that support our new initiatives in the Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) and Advanced Aerial Mobility (AAM) sectors. If you are a technically well-rounded individual with a passion for building and deploying scalable web services, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems for UAS and AAM initiatives.
- Work on scalable web services from the server backend to the web-based visual layer.
- Collaborate with team members to take requirements, break them down, and implement them with well-written code.
- Independently complete projects and seek advice when necessary.
- Contribute to the team with clear written and verbal communication skills.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java/Kotlin or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with React and building scalable web services.
- Familiarity with SQL and RDBMS such as Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with Spring Boot or Node.js.
- Knowledge of AWS services like EKS, DynamoDB, Lambdas, Aurora, SQS, etc.
- Experience with Docker.
