About The Team
We oversee Accounts and Connect APIs and dashboard surfaces that Stripe users rely on to run their business. As part of revamping our Accounts Platform for the next decade, we have the opportunity to solve challenging user pain points at scale and build a granular, expressive framework powering users’ onboarding experience as well as that of their own end users. Our team is also revamping our Platform Abstractions to provide flexibility in economic models, funds flows, and business integrations.
What You'll Do
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design and build end-to-end features for Stripe’s Accounts and Connect APIs. This includes features for Stripe’s largest users with complex integrations, as well as new users, solopreneurs, and startups. You will ensure our infrastructure is extensible, scalable, and reliable for both internal and external users. Collaborating with cross-functional partner teams, you will deliver delightful developer experiences and comprehensive interfaces with core account and money movement primitives.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone with a strong technical background, including 4+ years of experience as a full stack engineer, with an affinity for building scalable backend infrastructure. You should have experience delivering, extending, and maintaining large scale distributed systems. An empathetic, collaborative, and user-first mindset is essential. You should be able to work well cross-functionally and earn trust from colleagues at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates will be seen as a source of inspiration and a mentor for junior and senior engineers alike. You should have a propensity to ask questions, assume good intentions, and default to transparency.
Working Remotely at Stripe
This role is remote, allowing you to work primarily from home. While occasional visits to the office for meetings or events are expected, Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location.
