The Atlas team at Stripe provides a platform for founders to start a company effortlessly anywhere in the world. Atlas has already been utilized by over 50,000 startups, helping them to incorporate, secure discounts on essential tools, and streamline operations. Our goal is to accelerate startups to reach product-market fit rapidly.
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain user-facing experiences, services, APIs, and systems.
- Make effective tradeoffs considering business priorities, user experience, and sustainable technical foundations.
- Engage in problem-solving, making decisions on technology and architecture to build quality products.
- Communicate with users directly to understand and address their needs in the early stages of their companies.
- Handle debugging across services and multiple stack levels to ensure smooth operations.
Who You Are
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Passion for both frontend and backend development, with a focus on user experience.
- Preference for simple solutions and a knack for anticipating what will scale.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including designers, product managers, and legal teams.
- Commitment to high-quality output and helping teammates enhance product delivery.
- Desire to own end-to-end product experiences from design to deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with startups and understanding the challenges faced by founders.
- Proven track record in Ruby, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and SQL.
Hybrid Work at Stripe
This role requires spending at least 50% of the time in the local office or with users, balancing in-person collaboration with flexibility.
Pay and Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $150,500 - $225,700 annually.
