Full Stack Python & Cloud Application Developer

Job Summary

Join Comcast's Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization as a Full Stack Python & Cloud Application Developer. This role is part of the Comcast Network and CONNECTivity (CONNECT) organization, a highly agile and fast-paced team focused on innovating, building, and operating a best-in-class, reliable access network for our customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in programming with languages such as Python, JavaScript, Golang, and Java.
• 2+ years of experience in data structure and algorithm design.
• 2+ years of experience in REST API development.
• 1+ year of experience with AWS and Terraform.
• 1+ year of experience in UI Development and DB application development.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience in test-driven development, test automation, continuous integration, and deployment automation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex issues and technologies clearly.
• Excellent design and problem-solving skills with a focus on architecting at scale.
• Proficiency in Git commands, Bash scripting, and data serialization languages like YAML.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cross-functional applications that are extensible and reusable across teams.
• Employ test-driven development to write production-ready code.
• Provide necessary focus and support for production issues.
• Perform code and design reviews for the team.
• Participate in an agile Scrum software development framework.
• Mentor and support junior team members, interns, and co-ops.
• Collaborate constructively with team members.
