Full-Stack Software Engineer
About the Role
Octaura is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic tech team. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about building high-performance, next-generation technology that will revolutionize the loans industry. You will be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with top engineering talent, driving innovation and solving complex customer problems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of smart and passionate engineers to build and maintain our proprietary electronic trading platform.
- Use modern tools and methods to expand the capabilities of our cloud-based application.
- Help transition the development of our platform to our in-house team.
- Work closely with product teams to develop solutions for current and future customers.
Desired Experience
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack engineering and data-related technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in Java (strongly preferred) or other object-oriented languages.
- Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience building cloud-based applications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Compensation
The base pay range for this position in New York is $130,000 - $160,000 annually. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity and year-end bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
Work Environment
This role is based out of our NYC office with a current structure of 4 days in the office (Monday-Thursday) and 1 day from home (Friday).
