Fullstack Software Engineer, Applications

About the Role

We are seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Applications team. This role is pivotal in developing new products that enable our customers to forecast and assess the causal impact of their budget allocations across various marketing channels. As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining effective APIs, creating delightful user experiences, and working with large volumes of data.

Key Responsibilities

API Development: Build and maintain robust APIs to support customer insights.
User Experience: Develop and maintain user-friendly interfaces on top of these APIs.
Process Improvement: Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements using a variety of tools.
On-call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability.
Monitoring Tools: Build and tweak monitoring tools to understand feature viability in real-world scenarios.
Feature Ownership: Take ownership of the features you build, ensuring they meet user needs and expectations.

Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years of experience in building APIs and web applications.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in React and state management tools, and at least one OOP language such as Python, TypeScript, Scala, Golang, or Java.
Cloud Environment: Experience working in a cloud environment.
Database Skills: Experience with relational databases like SQL.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus Points

Experience with Flask or other Python web frameworks.
Experience with React-Query, XState for frontend state management.
Experience with data integrations with third-party sources.

Work Environment

This position is remote-friendly, with hubs in the SF Bay Area, Greater Seattle, and NYC. We offer optional weekly in-person days at each hub's local WeWork.
