Join the Airbnb API Integrations Team
Airbnb is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to join our API Integrations team. This role is pivotal in connecting our software partners with Airbnb's platform, ensuring seamless integration and enhancing the Airbnb experience for both Hosts and guests.

Our team works closely with a diverse range of software partners who manage millions of vacation rental homes and use third-party tools to enhance their Airbnb operations. We aim to provide technical advice and support to help these partners thrive.
The Difference You Will Make
As an Integration Engineer, you will be the primary technical contact for our software partners worldwide. Your responsibilities will include:
- Triage and Troubleshoot: Prioritize and address major issues reported by software partners using a variety of tools and logs.
- Emergency Support: Provide on-call support during regular rotations.
- Liaison Role: Act as a bridge between software partners and Airbnb's internal teams, including software engineers and product teams.
- Documentation and Updates: Test, document, and communicate updates about new API features and changes.
- Advocacy: Influence product team decisions based on partner feedback.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong connections with software partners to support their success.
- User Documentation: Create and update user-facing documentation to improve clarity and relevance.
Your Expertise
- Experience: 3+ years in a customer-facing technical support role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with REST APIs and tools like PAW, Postman, Kibana, Grafana, Datadog, YAML.
- Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity: Enjoys puzzle-solving and experimenting with APIs.
Your Location
This position is remote-eligible within Ireland. Occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites may be required, as agreed with your manager.
