Join Airbnb's Partner API Team
Airbnb is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Partner API team. This role is pivotal in designing and building our platform strategy for third-party integrations, enabling Airbnb to connect with external software systems and enhance the experience for our hosts and guests.

Millions of vacation rental homes are managed through third-party software systems that are not yet on Airbnb. Our Partner Ecosystem team is working to unlock these systems and build a platform for connectivity, bringing hosts and guests closer to the things that matter.
The Difference You Will Make
As a Senior Engineer, you will collaborate with senior technical leaders to design and build the company’s platform strategy for third-party integrations. Your work will empower Airbnb product teams to innovate and build for our customers by tapping into external capabilities and marketplaces.
A Typical Day
- Gather requirements and collaborate with engineering leaders to set the vision for our partnership platform.
- Design the system architecture for the platform, considering both existing and future needs.
- Make informed decisions about technology choices.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices through your leadership.
- Engage in the software development lifecycle and influence product strategy across Airbnb.
Your Expertise
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale software systems.
- Proven track record of building foundational platforms or public APIs used by third parties.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, curious mindset.
Location
This position is Remote Eligible within the United States. Occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites may be required.

Compensation
- Salary Range: $185,000—$223,000 USD
- Additional benefits include bonus, equity, and Employee Travel Credits.
