About the Role
As an IS Team Leader at ENGIE Global Energy Management & Sales, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and evolution of various trading systems that support market activities in the renewable energy sector. Your main role will be to ensure the team delivers regular, consistent IS software increments focusing on renewable businesses, including bug fixes, enhancements, and new functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Manage both internal and external consultants, ensuring skill management, staffing, and people development.
- Demand Management: Establish a team backlog prioritized according to client needs, manage relationships with other IT teams and external clients.
- Process Management: Define, adapt, and enforce team organization and methodologies, including development best practices and ALM methodology.
- Project Management: Define project organization, communication, and technical architecture.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the infrastructure necessary for business requirements.
Challenges
- Move the renewable application landscape towards high quality and agile standards.
- Be the owner of the Renewable workstream technical excellence.
- Provide technical guidance and direction to developers and operational staff.
About You
- Hard Skills: Proficient in AGILE framework, applicative architecture, and development languages like Python, C#, and modern web frameworks (React, Angular).
- Soft Skills: Assertive, stress-resistant, high integrity, well-organized, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Education: Master's degree in engineering with a specialty in IT or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as a technical lead or senior software developer.
