Join Spotify as a Junior Android Engineer
We are looking for a Junior Android Engineer to join our Core Experience team, which is responsible for enhancing the experiences in our main iOS and Android applications. This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and offers a unique opportunity to impact the way the world experiences audio.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with a small, autonomous team of developers, designers, and product owners to find end-to-end solutions to important problems.
- Implement these solutions for our Android client, adhering to Android development best practices.
- Help your team solve problems in a way that makes sense for Android users and our codebase.
- Join dozens of other developers and help to shape the direction of Android development at Spotify.
Who You Are
- You hold a degree in computer science or a similar subject and have at least 1+ years of working experience in a similar Android engineering position.
- You have an understanding of Android development and previous coding experience in object-oriented Kotlin.
- You care about quality and know what it means to ship high-quality code.
- You have some knowledge of distributed systems and are passionate about pairing programming practices and agile technologies.
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
