Expedia Group is seeking a Mobile Engineering Intern for our 2025 Global Summer Internship Program. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mobile development and contribute to business-critical projects. As a Mobile Engineering Intern, you will be fully integrated into our inclusive community and work on developing next-generation technologies that revolutionize travel.

What You’ll Do

• Design and Implement Solutions: Work with a team to design and implement high-volume, fault-tolerant, scalable mobile applications for Android or iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with Teams: Engage with other mobile developers, designers, and product managers to define and implement new features.
• Contribute to System Designs: Participate in discussions to create simple, scalable, and reliable system designs.
• Advocate for Mobile-First Design: Promote mobile-first design and development practices within Expedia Group.
• Enhance Application Performance: Help build apps that are performant, compact, intuitive, and maintainable.

Who You Are

• Educational Background: Must be graduating with an undergraduate or master’s degree in a technical subject (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) between December 2025 and July 2026.
• Availability: Must be available to commit to the full program dates (May 19-July 25, 2025, or June 23-August 29, 2025).
• Relocation: Willingness to relocate to the city of the job location if outside commuting distance.
• Experience: Must have no more than 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with automated tests, data structures, algorithms, and iOS or Android development is helpful.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of partners.

• Competitive Compensation: The total cash range for this position in Seattle & Austin is $45-51 per hour, and in Chicago is $41-47 per hour.
