Principal Enterprise Architecture Architect (Governance)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly strategic Principal Enterprise Architecture Architect specializing in Governance to join our team. This role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and supporting governance and enterprise architecture practices. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the enterprise to develop and execute technical and business strategies that align with our security, compliance, and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and Develop Governance Processes: Lead, develop, and execute processes and capabilities to ensure proper governance in enterprise architecture practices.
Architecture Models: Develop and implement architecture models based on TOGAF and AWS Well Architected Framework.
Governance Support: Support cloud and architecture governance via the Architecture Review Board.
Data-Driven Analytics: Design and develop data-driven analytics and executive reporting to enable cross-functional conversations about enterprise architecture and relevant challenges.
Trend Analysis: Observe meaningful trends in data sets and perform analysis to translate raw data into actionable recommendations, including automation, shared costs, and forecasting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, Security, Compliance, and Legal teams to develop and implement enterprise architecture governance strategies.
Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT leaders, and external partners.
KPI Tracking: Track and report KPIs and trend analysis relating to business capabilities, technical capabilities, AWS cloud consumption, capacity management, and chargeback.
Stay Informed: Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in architecture governance and recommend necessary changes to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in AWS public cloud and enterprise architecture.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cloud architecture and tool management.
Communication: Skilled communicator who can translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Education: Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience leading complex Engineering and Architecture initiatives.
Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Associate (Required), TOGAF Certification.
