As a contractor, you will play a crucial role in developing our next-generation dating and social app, which is focused on Gen-Z and video-based interactions. About Hiyoume
Hiyoume is a disruptive, Gen-Z focused, video-based dating app that incorporates social games to enhance user interaction. We believe in connecting people through video content and have developed exclusive social games to facilitate this. Our mission is to create a positive and authentic social space for the next generation, emphasizing safety and security within an inclusive digital community.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and implement new products and features.
- Be an expert concerning the competition and industry trends.
- Collaborate with a passionate team to build innovative solutions.
- Work up to 20 hours per week, with flexibility in remote or in-person settings.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full-stack Product Developer.
- Demonstrated success in defining and launching excellent products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience of 5-10 years.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Naturally collaborative and a team player.
- Strong attention to detail.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in JavaScript (OOP, closures, context) and TypeScript.
- Experience with React, Redux, and understanding of MVC & MVVM patterns.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5/CSS3.
- Good understanding of Webpack & Gulp usage principles.
- Experience with Git and Gitflow.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap, LESS/SASS.
- Experience with back-end technologies, particularly Node.js.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
