Role Overview

As a Senior Principal Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of our data science initiatives, driving proof of concepts, rapid prototyping, and research and development activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and provide expertise on data and data products that support our goals.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
Lead data analysis to understand data capabilities, patterns, and insights.
Recommend data set attributes for use in data products and analytics.
Use advanced statistical techniques, machine learning, and deep learning approaches to create products and analytics.
Mentor and guide teams in the use of data science for various use cases.
Develop proof of concepts and prototypes to demonstrate the value of data-driven solutions.
Stay updated with the latest research on methodologies and modeling advances.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, mathematics, machine learning, statistics, or a related field.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
Expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with big data and cloud data technologies.
Proven ability to lead data science projects from conception to deployment.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent collaboration skills in a matrixed, multi-team environment.
