Your Role

As a Senior Back-end Developer, you will be a key member of one of our agile scrum teams. Your responsibilities will include:

• Actively participating in daily scrum meetings and driving the team's progress towards sprint goals.
• Developing and enhancing our app by addressing complex user stories and improving overall functionality and performance.
• Leading the exploration and mastery of new technologies or frameworks, and mentoring junior developers.
• Contributing to the strategic direction of our development projects and ensuring a smooth user experience.

Your Profile

• Extensive experience with micro-services and event-driven architecture, especially on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS/Postgres, ECS/EKS, Kafka, Firehose).
• Proficiency with Go on AWS Lambda, Java/Spring in containers, and TypeScript for CDK.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical insights.
• Experience guiding junior developers and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Strong architectural vision and the ability to assess the impact of changes on the overall project.
• Eagerness to innovate and continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience in a start-up environment, ideally within fintech, is highly desirable.
