Lydia is seeking a talented and experienced Senior BackEnd Developer to join our dynamic team. About the Role
As a Senior BackEnd Developer at Lydia, you will be responsible for developing complex solutions that require a deep understanding of banking processes. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Product Managers, Technical Product Managers, Quality Analysts, and other developers, to deliver a wide range of technical features.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement complex solutions for banking processes.
- Empower and assist less experienced developers.
- Ensure operational excellence in execution.
- Plan and deliver a wide range of technical features.
- Experience with distributed systems, performance optimization, and refactoring.
Technical Environment
- Languages: Go (90%), PHP 5-8 (10% for legacy systems).
- Tools: Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Docker, FuelPHP, Symfony, MariaDB, PostgreSQL.
- Cloud: Google Cloud Platform.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in development with the Go stack, ideally in a startup or scale-up environment.
- A project and user-oriented mindset.
- A degree in engineering or a related field (BAC + 2 to 5).
- Excellent software engineering skills.
- Ability to communicate in English is a plus.
- Previous experience in a banking environment is advantageous.
