Job Overview
Bynder is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is pivotal in developing robust backend services using modern technologies like Python, Scala, and microservices architecture. You will be working in a hybrid environment based in Rotterdam, contributing to projects that impact global brands like Spotify and Puma.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and robust backend services.
- Work with technologies such as Python, Scala, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and enhance existing ones.
- Ensure continuous integration and delivery through effective use of CI/CD pipelines.
- Engage in Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning and reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across multiple domains.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, particularly in backend engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and Scala, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and other cloud technologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
