Role Summary
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Captions, you will be responsible for building scalable architectures and products that shape the future of video software. You will ensure high uptimes and performance of all engineering systems in your area, directly impacting Captions' users.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable architecture using advanced technologies.
- Collaborate with the broader team to conceptualize and ship incredible experiences.
- Ensure the performance and reliability of engineering systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer.
- Proficiency in distributed systems using technologies like GCP, AWS, NoSQL databases, PubSub, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
- Experience with GPU management and optimization at scale is a plus.
