Role Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer, Web, you will be instrumental in delivering high-performance user experiences. You will collaborate with Product Designers and the broader team to conceptualize and ship incredible experiences directly to our users. Your role will involve staying up-to-date with the latest web technologies and best practices, applying them to improve our development process and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver stunning, high-performance user experiences that shape the future of video software.
- Collaborate with Product Designers and the broader team to conceptualize and ship incredible experiences directly to Captions' users.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and best practices, and apply them to improve the development process and drive innovation.
- Manage the overall product process with the broader team, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and maintenance.
- Contribute to the development of project plans and schedules.
Requirements
- Multi-disciplinary engineer with strong product sense and technical expertise.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, focusing on designing and developing user-interfaces for highly scalable web applications.
- Demonstrated fluency with a mainstream frontend and server-side framework (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, ExpressJS, etc).
- Bonus: Experience or the ability/appetite to learn WebGL, WASM, Electron.
