We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of video software, ensuring high performance and uptime for our users.
Responsibilities
- Build Scalable Architecture: Design and implement scalable backend systems that support our growing user base and enhance the performance of our video software.
- Ensure High Performance: Maintain high uptimes and performance for all engineering systems, ensuring a seamless experience for Captions' users.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years as a software engineer with a strong background in building distributed systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in GCP, AWS, NoSQL databases, PubSub, and Kubernetes. A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
- Additional Skills: Experience with GPU management and optimization at scale is a plus.
