The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer in our backend team, you will play a pivotal role in developing a new product line within the contact center space. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex backend systems involving real-time communication, database management, and system optimization.
Responsibilities
- Software Development: Engage in the full application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging. Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic to create efficient, scalable solutions.
- Component Ownership: Manage critical technical components such as databases, queues, caches, and APIs. Choose or build appropriate technologies to ensure optimal performance.
- Code Quality: Develop reusable code and libraries for future use. Focus on maintainability and efficient code reuse.
- System Optimization: Balance scalability, reliability, security, and cost. Design and implement systems with future needs and immediate performance in mind.
- Advanced Features: Work on complex systems involving RBAC, user authentication, and stream communication for audio. Handle systems requiring low latency and high reliability.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in building production-grade software products.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring, with experience in Python being a plus.
- Hands-on experience with container management tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
