Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect specializing in AWS to join our team for a freelance position. This role is based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, with the flexibility to work remotely. The contract is expected to start on January 1, 2025, and last until July 18, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support to the project team from a technical perspective.
- Participate in on-call duties and handle sprint topics.
- Analyze current architectural states and develop target states within given guidelines.
- Implement target states upon approval.
- Analyze and resolve issues within the ITIL process using incidents.
- Participate in daily calls and bi-weekly sprint changes to coordinate technical topics.
- Handle daily business topics based on defined guidelines.
- Actively participate in technical calls with partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all security and project team guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional Level
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in developing solution architectures for AWS Cloud that meet business requirements and optimize IT infrastructure.
- Experience in identifying technical risks and developing solutions to mitigate these risks (minimum 6 years).
- Oversee the development of solutions to ensure they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget (minimum 6 years).
- Collaborate with developer teams and other stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are implemented in accordance with the solution architecture, particularly regarding CI/CD pipelines and automation for stable and secure operations (minimum 6 years).
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in German and English (B2 level or equivalent).
- Experience in cloud security and identity and access management (minimum 6 years).
- Technical understanding of CI/CD (minimum 6 years).
- Experience with Linux (RHEL, Amazon Linux) (minimum 6 years).
- Proficiency in Git (AWS Code Commit) (minimum 6 years).
- Ability to document and communicate solution architecture using standard architectural practices, patterns, and frameworks.
