About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer at Volue, you will be instrumental in optimizing, developing, and implementing critical data solutions that support our mission of enabling the green transition. You will work closely with product management and other teams to design, build, and maintain scalable and flexible data pipelines for forecasting and prediction models.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines.
- Collaborate with product management to integrate model results into products.
- Contribute to the automation and scalability of forecasting models.
- Monitor performance and continuously evaluate data quality.
- Engage in peer code reviews and adhere to best practices in a modern production environment.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in cloud data engineering.
- Proficient in Python with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
- Degree in Data Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, AI, or Computer Science.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to work from the Gdańsk office at least twice per week.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with GCP and Airflow.
- Knowledge of energy markets analysis.
