Job Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer at Procter & Gamble, you will lead or contribute to the data design for Anaplan solutions, defining how data flows, is stored, and structured. This role is crucial in collaborating with business partners and Product Owners to understand and meet data requirements, ensuring optimal data flow and storage patterns across projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners to elicit and understand data requirements.
- Contribute to the creation of architectural principles, standards, and best practices.
- Select and design databases that support the business needs.
- Translate data requirements into application, solution, and subject area data models.
- Document data flow between applications and recommend optimal data flow and storage patterns.
- Create and enhance business glossary, data dictionary, and related metadata.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Python/PySpark and SQL/SparkSQL programming.
- Experience in Big Data/ETL (Spark and Databricks preferred).
- Experience in implementing projects & solutions in cloud environments, particularly Azure.
- Knowledge of Data Models, Agile SCRUM, and DevOps methodologies.
- English proficiency and at least a bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.
