Your Role
As a Senior Data Engineer specializing in Data Modeling, you will play a crucial role in our Data Platform team. You will be responsible for leading our data modeling efforts, setting company standards, and supporting upcoming use cases such as semantic layers or LLM code assistants. You will work closely with our data domain teams to optimize data models and ensure the Data Warehouse remains the primary source of truth for company data.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data modeling efforts and set best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with data domain teams to optimize data models and manage data model complexity.
- Support advanced use cases such as LLMs, Driver Tree, and Headless BI.
- Manage and improve Snowflake governance, including cost control and PII handling measures.
- Develop cutting-edge frameworks for stream solutions using Kafka or Flink.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Data Modeling and Architecture (Kimball, Data Vault, Inmon, OBT, etc.).
- Expertise in SQL (including performance optimization) and Python.
- Experience with cloud DWH solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Familiarity with data orchestration frameworks like dbt and Apache Airflow.
- Interest in platform components like CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS.
- Fluency in English.
