About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Berlin, Germany. As a Senior Data Engineer at Taxfix, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our data platform and pipelines. Your work will enable our machine learning, analytics, and reporting capabilities, ensuring that our data environment is compliant, efficient, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the data platform to support ML and AI-driven product development.
- Ensure data is secure, compliant, and cost-efficient.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance data management, analytics, and machine learning.
- Participate in data architecture design and decision-making processes.
- Establish team-wide standards for documentation, monitoring, code quality, and testing.
Your Profile
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficient in Python for data engineering, particularly in data ingestion and quality.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Airflow and Docker.
- Familiarity with modern data engineering tools and cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure).
- Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality.
- Experience with ML Ops and Kubernetes is a plus.
