Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of a quarterly insights report, analyzing data from over 20,000 restaurant clients in the Middle East. Your primary responsibility will be to uncover valuable trends and insights from restaurant ERP data and compile them into a market-leading report to be published for marketing and industry engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Insight Research: Conduct interviews to understand the types of insights clients and stakeholders value most.
- Project Ownership: Lead the project end-to-end, ensuring targets and timelines are met.
- Collaboration with Data Engineering: Work closely with the data engineering team to gather and prepare the required data.
- Data Analysis & Insights Generation: Use Snowflake, Python, and advanced statistical methods to analyze data and extract insights.
- Utilize LLM Technology: Implement LLM-based models to categorize products and generate data-driven narratives.
- Report Structuring: Develop the structure and key elements of the report, collaborating with designers to present it effectively.
Requirements
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in data science, with expertise in Python.
- SQL Proficiency: Proven ability to write complex SQL queries.
- Data Warehouse Experience: Previous experience working with data warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks.
- LLM Integration: Experience integrating LLMs within data workflows.
- Statistics: Strong understanding of statistical methods and data visualization techniques.
- Big Data: Experience working with large datasets and scaling analytics solutions.
Compensation
- Salary: Starting at €2,000 net monthly, negotiable based on skills and experience.
