About the Role
As a Senior Data Scientist at AUTOproff, you will be pivotal in shaping the future of European Car Trading through groundbreaking technology solutions. You will be part of the Seller Problem Space squad, specializing in pricing trade-in and in-stock cars. Your expertise will make a tangible impact on simplifying the vehicle selling process and empowering our clients to excel in sales.
Responsibilities
- Developing and productionizing machine learning models
- Interpreting and delivering the results of findings to stakeholders within the business
- Owning and maintaining your solutions, ensuring their performance and scalability
Key Skills and Qualifications
- MSc degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent quantitative discipline
- 2+ years of professional experience in developing machine learning models
- Expertise in Python, Pandas, NumPy, and SQL
- Strong understanding of both traditional statistical modeling and machine learning
Nice-to-have Skills
- Familiarity with software development tools such as git, Docker, and agile processes
- Experience in Neural Networks, Deep Learning, and Tree-Based learners
- Experience with ML Ops and productionizing processes
- Experience working with data lakes in S3
Personal Attributes
- Curious mindset with a hands-on experience with the newest technologies
- Ability to work independently and structure tasks efficiently
- Strong sense of ownership for the solutions developed
