About the Role
LiveIntent, a leading people-based marketing platform, is seeking a VP of Data Science, Machine Learning & Identity to join our highly-skilled development team in Copenhagen. This role is pivotal in driving our data science, machine learning, and identity strategies, aligning them with the company's vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, execute, and lead data science, machine learning, and identity strategies.
- Act as an advisor to senior leadership, focusing on ecosystem changes affecting identity strategies.
- Oversee, motivate, and coach a team of data scientists and engineers.
- Collaborate with international teams in New York and Berlin.
- Participate in all stages of development, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
- Lead the development process using a hybrid of agile methods and rapid prototyping.
Your Profile
- Professional experience in data analysis or software development.
- Proven leadership in managing teams of engineers and data scientists.
- Strong background in mathematics, statistics, or computer science, ideally with a PhD.
- Practical experience with programming languages such as Scala and Python.
- Familiarity with data processing tools like Spark and Google BigQuery.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex systems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
