About the Role
LiveIntent is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our highly-skilled development team in Copenhagen. This role involves analyzing issues based on data, and designing, developing, and maintaining algorithms, reports, and software solutions. You will be a key player in a challenging and dynamic developmental story, working closely with other developers and stakeholders across our international product division.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data to understand and solve complex problems.
- Design and develop algorithms and software solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing systems.
- Collaborate with team members to prototype, develop, test, and deploy new features.
- Mentor and guide other team members.
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in data analysis and software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Scala and Python.
- Experience with machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with tools like Google BigQuery and data processing frameworks like MapReduce.
- Ability to translate real-world issues into mathematical models.
Ideal Candidate
- Holds a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Several years of practical experience in programming and data analysis.
- Enjoys mentoring and has previous experience guiding team members.
