Overview
Join Novonesis as an R&D Data Science Engineer and contribute to our mission of bettering the world with biology through advanced data solutions. This role is pivotal in spearheading data solutions and infrastructure build-up for our application development teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and Support Infrastructure: You will be responsible for building and supporting necessary web and data infrastructure components for our organization and research needs.
- Advance Digital Solutions: Improve our application research processes and continuously find ways to advance our digital solutions.
- Data-Driven Solutions: Device data-driven solutions to meet technical challenges and increase scientific insights.
- Collaboration: Work within and across other digitalization teams to deliver on Novonesis’ digital transformation goals.
Skills and Qualifications
- Python Programming: Solid and documented experience in Python programming is essential.
- Data Science Expertise: Proficiency in data analytics, databases, and statistical data analysis.
- Version Control: Experience with version control tools, such as Git, is crucial.
- Team Collaboration: Keen attention to detail, self-starter, and team player qualities are important.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Data Science Skills: Ability to improve our overall skillset in our data science stack (Python/R, Databases, App development).
- Statistical Analysis: Experience in statistical data analysis using platforms like R, Python, SAS JMP.
- Lab Automation Experience: Experience in lab automation or working as part of a development team is beneficial.
Location and Workplace
This job is a hybrid of working from home and in-person collaboration at our site in Lyngby, Denmark, and with our US East coast-based team members.
