What You’ll Be Doing

Join Tinuiti as a Senior DevOps Engineer on our Platform Services team, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the infrastructure that supports our expansive digital marketing services. This position is ideal for those who excel in a dynamic, collaborative environment and are passionate about programming and system building rather than just maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD processes and tools to automate deployments.
• Collaborate with data engineering, infrastructure, and feature teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features and systems.
• Monitor, identify, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application security issues.
• Lead the push for better developer tools and active monitoring of production systems by development teams.
• Participate in the development of infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure consistent and reliable environments through automation.
• Develop and maintain internal tools to promote automation, collaboration, and ease the flow of critical data between teams.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and processes that can enhance system reliability and performance.
• Engage in proactive communication with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and facilitate efficient workflow.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in systems engineering and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and infrastructure.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python, Typescript, Ruby, etc.) and familiarity with programming languages.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Github Actions, CircleCI, etc) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Shell scripting familiarity (Bash/Zsh) and ability to work with packaging systems (npm, webpack, etc).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
