Join Our Team as a Senior DevOps Engineer
Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Emergency Call Handling team in Krakow. This role is pivotal in extending the capabilities of our mission-critical platform and enhancing the existing technologies we use. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to build cloud-based solutions with a focus on achieving 99.999% system availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using modern DevOps tooling.
- Continuous Delivery: Embrace the DevOps culture and continuous delivery approach, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.
- System Architecture: Define and maintain the architecture for the team, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with agile teams, contributing to end-to-end software development, including design, implementation, testing, delivery, and maintenance.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a technical leader, organizing work and planning for the team, and engaging in complex tasks.
Required Skills and Experience
- DevOps Expertise: 5+ years of practical experience with modern DevOps tooling.
- Cloud Proficiency: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or private cloud environments.
- Microservices and REST APIs: Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and REST API development.
- Kubernetes and Docker: Proficiency in using Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and management.
- Observability and Monitoring: Experience with observability tools and monitoring systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent English language skills for effective communication with peers and customers in North America.
Preferred Skills
- Messaging Systems: Experience with RabbitMQ, AMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
- Networking Protocols: Understanding of SIP, RTP, WebRTC, MSRP.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and other relevant languages.
