About the Role
As a Senior Experience Designer III at Verizon, you will be part of a dynamic Experience Design team that impacts one of the largest consumer presences in America. You will support millions of daily customer interactions across an omnichannel ecosystem and a growing consumer product portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with global offices and cross-disciplinary teams to shape the future of customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Envision, create, and maintain end-to-end customer activities for various consumer-facing products and services. Work independently, with some guidance, to solve complex problems and produce effective design solutions.
- Collaboration: Work with partners in product, technology, and business to develop new ideas and collaborate on a wide range of design programs or products.
- Design System: Understand and apply patterns from the Verizon Design System to create a consistent user experience. Explore, refine, and document design solutions.
- User Research: Actively explore user context and engage in target user activities. Participate in insight-gathering activities and create design solutions that leverage user insights.
- Competitive Analysis: Research competitive products, industry trends, and topics. Recommend activities, solutions, and methods to guide team members and stakeholders.
- Feedback and Communication: Give and receive constructive feedback. Communicate project plans, goals, and expected outcomes effectively.
- Mentorship: Mentor peers and new hires by sharing experiences and processes to enable growth.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. Three or more years of experience in design. Experience with common design software such as Figma and Adobe.
- Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design. Experience with Agile software delivery environments and Fortune 500 organizational environments.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role, requiring a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum of eight assigned office days per month.
