About The Team
Our Design team is dedicated to expanding global economic access by working on projects that include brand voice, websites, products, and publications. We are currently seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Design Systems team.
Role Overview
As a Senior Product Designer, you will be integral in designing and maintaining the components, UI patterns, and documentation for Stripe’s design system and component library. You will work closely with product designers, engineers, writers, and other stakeholders to develop the tools and processes needed to build world-class user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the components, UI patterns, and documentation for Stripe’s design system.
- Collaborate with product designers, engineers, writers, and other stakeholders to develop tools and processes.
- Write documentation and usage guidelines to educate designers and engineers on using components and patterns across design and code.
- Partner with other product designers and engineers to create high-quality user experiences across different product areas, geographies, and platforms.
- Uphold Stripe’s high standards for design and product quality.
Who You Are
We are looking for someone with at least 7 years of design experience, including significant contributions to a design system. You should be able to communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and have an impressive portfolio.
Working Remotely at Stripe
This role allows you to work remotely, with the expectation that you will work from home rather than a Stripe office. While office visits for team meetings and events are welcome, they are not required.
Pay and Benefits
The annual salary range for this role is €68,000 - €102,000, depending on location and experience. Specific benefits include equity, company bonuses, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends.
