Team Overview
The Annalect Engineering team is a dynamic group of technologists, including backend, frontend, full-stack, and data engineers. We are committed to a culture of work/life balance and continual learning and development.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will build Annalect products that leverage our Big Data infrastructure and componentized design system. We adopted web components in 2019 to build modular and reusable web applications. We are looking for individuals who share a passion for data and a desire to build high-quality applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain proficiency with our frontend tech stack, including web components, the Lit templating library, state management libraries, and routing solutions.
- Independently complete assigned tasks, including design updates, bug fixes, and new feature development.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers from other tracks to implement our technical architecture and develop software products.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Over 3 years of experience building frontend UIs and web applications.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to tackle intermediate frontend engineering issues and provide meaningful code reviews.
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks and with detailed instructions on complex tasks.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Additional Skills
- Appreciation for aesthetic ideals and beautiful design.
- Experience with TypeScript and Vue.js is a plus.
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud environments is a plus.
- Python development experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $68,000—$130,000 USD
- Benefits include health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
