Bellhop is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic web team. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our client-facing applications and internal tooling. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate company and customer needs into functional and appealing responsive applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Applications: Build both client-facing applications and contribute to internal tooling applications. Ensure applications are optimized for speed and performance.
• Responsive Design: Develop features to be fully responsive from desktop to mobile clients, ensuring a clean user experience and consistency in designs across our product suite.
• Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers to integrate internal APIs and extend our proxy web APIs using Express.
• Quality Assurance: Write functional requirement documents and guides, ensuring high-quality UI standards and brand consistency.
• Project Management: Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Advocate for software engineering best practices and principles.
• Innovation and Improvement: Identify and advocate for improvements to product performance, security, and quality. Stay up to date on emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years of professional software experience, with a focus on frontend development.
• Technical Skills: Proven work experience with React, Node.js, and vanilla JavaScript. Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• Design Skills: Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices. Ability to style components to meet design standards.
• Tools: Familiarity with software like Figma and content management systems.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and multitasking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
