Job Overview
HubSpot's Developer Product Group is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer I to join our UI extensibility team. This role is pivotal in building the developer tooling, libraries, and infrastructure that empower HubSpot’s customers and partners to create React applications within HubSpot’s CRM.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain libraries, frameworks, and build systems.
- Collaborate with the team to design interfaces for a growing number of UI components.
- Work on our vite-based dev server and webworker sandbox to ensure safe execution of customer code.
- Solve complex technical problems with a focus on developer empathy and trade-off analysis.
- Engage in continuous learning and development, mentoring peers and being open to mentorship.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience in front-end development, particularly with React and TypeScript.
- A bias for solving problems with technology rather than process.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and envision future possibilities while understanding practical implementation.
- Located within the EST or CST time zone.
