Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team. This role involves using full-stack web technology to develop MVPs, run experiments, and iterate quickly. You will build platforms, systems, and services for both internal and external teams to interact with large-scale production systems.
Responsibilities
- Use technologies like Node.js, React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS to develop and validate ideas.
- Build and maintain software platforms and services.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
- Innovate and bring new ideas and technologies into our platform.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Solid experience in frontend development with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with web frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages like Java, C/C++, Python, Rust, or Go.
- Experience with web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, networking systems, and developing large software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience running large scalable distributed services following a microservice architecture.
- Experience with cloud-native environments built on public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.
- Strong sense of web design and user experience fundamentals.
