Overview
Magic Eden is a leading multi-chain NFT platform that is pushing the boundaries on Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, and Bitcoin. We are dedicated to making digital ownership universal to supercharge the internet economy. As a Senior Data Scientist in our Data Science department, you will lead and execute analytics and strategy initiatives for one of our key business pillars—marketplace, wallet, or rewards. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with both technical teams (Product & Engineering) and business teams to drive strategy through insightful data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute on all analytics and strategy initiatives for a business pillar within Magic Eden.
- Conduct analysis to inform product and business strategy and present recommendations to senior stakeholders and executives.
- Develop and measure metrics to monitor company and area performance.
- Mentor team members and develop resources and processes to increase the efficiency of the Data Science and Analytics team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience in a data science or analytics role, preferably in a high-growth technology startup environment.
- Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with one or more scripting languages (Python, R).
- Experience leading data science or analytics projects from start to finish.
- Proven ability to influence the company’s strategy with your findings.
- Experience working with and presenting to senior stakeholders and executives.
- Deep interest and curiosity in, or native understanding of the crypto ecosystem.
