Job Overview
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at kununu, you will be a key player in migrating and enhancing our technology stack to a microservice architecture with multiple universal front-end applications built on React. You will be embedded in our frontend guild, tasked with designing, developing, integrating, deploying, and monitoring frontend applications for our kununu.com web platform.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features in collaboration with our product and design team.
- Optimize performance across browsers, focusing on mobile-first design.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, helping them grow in their roles.
- Develop applications in virtualized containers like Docker and utilize cloud infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in Frontend Development, particularly with JavaScript and React.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and its benefits.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud technologies.
- Experience with Docker and other virtualization tools.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
