About the Role
Calendly is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. This role involves deep technical know-how, architectural wisdom, and enthusiasm to help drive the growth of our platform. You will report to an Engineering Manager and be responsible for supporting features and architecture designed to maintain our users’ confidence in Calendly.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within your team to build new features targeted at our highest impact enterprise customers.
- Contribute to platform scaling initiatives.
- Meet regularly with Product and Design to fine-tune requirements.
- Attend agile ceremonies to help your team plan out their work and get it done.
- Work across squads to improve Engineering practices at Calendly.
- Review implementation plans and pull requests from your peers.
- Mentor and coach other team members.
What We Need From You
- 7+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
- Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) (microservices).
- Survived a Monolith to Services architectural rebuild.
- Experience with Rails, Node, or a comparable web-app development framework.
- A drive to craft clean, reliable and maintainable code.
- Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours.

Location and Salary
This position is remote within the United States. The salary range for this role varies by location:
- Tier 1: San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, New York City, NY: $197,880—$267,720 USD
- Tier 2: Chicago, IL, Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Boston, MA, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, PA, Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Miami, FL, and all other cities in CA: $181,390—$245,410 USD
- Tier 3: All other locations not in Tier 1 or Tier 2: $164,900—$223,100 USD
