What You'll Do

• Promote the target state architecture across the engineering community and stakeholders.
• Conduct deep-dive reviews of technical solutions and designs, advising teams on improvements and ensuring compliance with strategy and architecture standards.
• Guide development teams towards adopting modern design patterns and technologies for scalable and well-supported systems.
• Design technical solutions for complex business problems.
• Create engineering practice guidelines, modernization plans, and insights for management.
• Identify appropriate tools and support engineering automation work, including test automation and CI/CD.

Skills You'll Need

• Extensive experience in software architecture, design, development, and engineering, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Strong background in engineering, solution, and domain architecture.
• Proficiency in modern software engineering topics such as microservices, streaming architectures, API design, REST services, and SOA principles.
• Experience with Java/Spring-Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS, ReactJS/Angular, SQL/NoSQL databases like Postgres DB/MongoDB.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with various partners and stakeholders.

Expectations

Salary

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250, based on factors such as skill set, experience, education, and qualifications. This range does not include incentive compensation or other types of remuneration.
