About The Role
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at TUI, you will be part of a dynamic team that spans across multiple countries. You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality solutions and robust architectures. Your role will involve working with a variety of programming languages and technologies, including JavaScript, Java, REST, GraphQL, SQL, NoSQL, and AWS. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of cloud environments, particularly AWS, and be proficient in implementing resource-oriented APIs on both client and server sides.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in software development, including CI/CD, DevSecOps, and agile methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and Java.
- Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases like Oracle, Postgres, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services and cloud design patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab CI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
